Philadelphia, PA (March 18, 2014)... The Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine is excited to announce that long time event supporter DEI will host a passage control stop. As a hospitality sponsor, DEI will host the drivers immediately following competition at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. This event is open to the public free of charge.
Close to one hundred teams are expected. This is a rare opportunity to see a large number of world class race cars and talk to the drivers (professional and amateur) about their experience before their last round of competition.
Beginning at 3 p.m., there will be product displays, live music and food vendors at DEI's headquarters located at 604 Moore Road in Avon Lake. DEI welcomes the public to visit Thursday, May 8 to meet the drivers, view the large number of varied race cars, and learn about DEI's full line of automotive performance products.
Tom Miller, DEI VP Sales and Marketing, says, "This will be an exciting day at DEI. We have hosted The One Lap of America previously and nothing compares to the sound of these race cars pulling one-by-one into our parking area. We hope to see a good turnout. There will be plenty of food, great live music and some powerful race cars on display."
