11 Oct 2019 : VIR is off the schedule
Folks, without warning, VIR pulled our date. I am very sorry for this news and there will be a more complete explanation when the new schedule is posted next week. I'm posting this now as I'm sure teams are trying to get practice days before the event and I don't want to see money spent at their track if we're not welcome.Important Announcement!
In addition to helmets, driversuits, fire extinguishers, etc, all drivers competing in track events will be wearing approved head and neck restraints. Hybrid or Hans-type head and neck restraints will be employed as appropriate for the entered car's seatbelt type. No donut or horseshoe collars!
