06 Oct 2010 : NASA to Sanction One Lap
RICHMOND, CA-October 6, 2010. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is excited to announce that it will sanction the hallowed Tire Rack One Lap of America event in 2011. NASA will provide insurance and sanction for this storied event that challenges drivers to compete at multiple venues while traveling across the country.
"The One Lap is an amazing event and this is a great fit for the two organizations", said John Lindsey NASA's Chief Divisional Director. "They have a great program that I have followed for years and I am excited to see what we can do as we work together."
Brock Yates Jr., the Event Coordinator of One Lap of America added that "NASA is an ideal partner for us in that they understand what we're doing and have the flexibility to make things smooth for our competitors. We look forward to working with NASA to help us continue the great history of this event well into the future while expanding opportunities for all of our drivers."
