Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, February 20, 2013 – Chariots of Palm Beach, one of the country's leading luxury and exotic car dealers, as well as a franchised dealer for the Morgan Motor Company, will be a proud sponsor of the 30th running of the Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. “We couldn’t be more delighted with the new network of friends, companies, and clients that have come to us because of our participation, and we are always happy to support Brock Yates, Jr. and his hard working staff especially during this upcoming 30th Anniversary year of the Tire Rack One Lap of America.” Said Hugh Bate, President of Chariots of Palm Beach. Chariots of Palm Beach has been involved with the Tire Rack One Lap of America since 2007, when Hugh Bate proudly competed in the event with fellow driver “The Barron” Rene von Richthofen. “We are very happy to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the One Lap of America,” states Hugh, “As a previous six time race participant driving with Rene von Richthofen, we have an intimate understanding of the challenges this race offers to competitors, and we have made many fine friends over the years.” This year, the dynamic duo of Hugh Bate and Rene von Richthofen will be driving the 2012 Nissan GTR which placed 3rd overall in last year’s event. For the 30th Anniversary the pair have been honing their racing skills at the Palm Beach International Raceway and Sebring International Raceway. This year they have made adjustments to the car’s suspension, wheels, tires and fuel system all in hopes of finishing well once more. The Tire Rack One Lap of America is excited for the return of the now infamous duo. Aside from the continued support they provide to the One Lap they are one of the more colorful teams in the competition and enhance the experience for everyone.
